We professionally assemble the units here and test each of them for proper operation. This Geiger Counter is open source. You can build it yourself. Or if you decide that’s too much to do because you are busy you can just order one here. The Geiger Counter interfaces to any PC and gives you loads of information about the radiation in your surrounding area. It can be used with a variety of tubes. This Geiger Counter connects to any PC via a serial port.

Calibration

Designed for in-depth nuclear studies and gamma spectroscopy, our 8 disk set contains different gamma emitting isotopes covering the entire energy range from 32 to 1333 keV. Also included in the set is a mixed source of Cs-137 and Zn-65, which if being used for classroom instruction, students may use to identify an “unknown” isotope.

Contains 1 each of Ba-133, Cd-109, Co-57, Co-60, Cs-137, Mn-54. Na-22 and Cs/Zn. Source activities are all 1 uCi, except the Cs/Zn source, which is 0.5 uCi Cs, and 1 uCi Zn.
